Having way too much fun and it hasn't even started yet

Getting ready to head out to shoot Aaron & Megan's wedding tomorrow... feeling so professional with my new battery grip.

I also rented a 100mm 2.8L IS macro lens (gotta love referral credits!! Thanks, Aperturent! :-)... oh my goodness, people, am I ever in love! I tried it out on my simple little ring and it's AMAZING! I can't wait to use it on Megan's heavily jeweled one and any other sparkly details. :-)

Behold the beautiful red band!
First time using an L series lens. Just a wee bit excited. :-)

See what I mean?

Yeah. Smitten would be a good word for it.

  5. Awesome! Battery grips have a way if doing that. ;) wow so fun about the macro lens!!! Takes amazing puctures, it looks like! Hey have you ever seen this? http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003Y60DZO it's basically a tube that you put below you 50mm lens, and it takes macro pictures (manual focus) but with only spending $12.00!!! It's so amazing and does the job! :) Anyways, I thought I'd share that.

    1. I have heard of those, but never used one before! I suppose for $12 it would be worth a try, though. :-)
