Since Abbe was the mastermind behind it all, here's her perspective on pulling it all together: "To create an 'Orchard Harvest' theme, we sought to combine the magical elements of autumn with the elegance of the Edwardian era. To achieve this we choose a lace wedding gown and added an ornate beaded belt, we used an antique velvet couch along with other antique props, such as china, silver, wooden chairs and trunk from Edinburgh, Scotland! Our color palette focused on rich jewel tones, the red roses and purple-green kale, the berry colored earrings and bride’s lipstick, the chocolate wedding cake with fondant figs, the metallic gold touches throughout and of course the lush, emerald green of the orchard surrounding us."
It worked out perfectly that our friends Richard & Christie (Christie was also on the blog before!) were going to be in town and they were able to model for us!
This shoot was an absolute blast and I'm looking forward to next time. :-) Please check out our wonderful vendors and enjoy the photos!
