Emily & Anna Joy | Recital Publicity Shoot

You'll recognize Emily from the portrait shoot I did of her earlier this summer. For her junior voice recital she's collaborating with her friend Anna Joy and they needed some photos together to use for advertising posters. It was a chilly day but they braved the wind in their formal gowns and managed to look gorgeous in spite of chattering teeth. :-) Enjoy the photos at some of my favorite Woodstock Square haunts!

Look! Their namesake store! :-)
(complete with random photo-bombing lady in bright blue coat)

A favorite!

  3. Beautiful pictures. Where did you take that last set? It looks like a museum - but I assume that means you need special permission to shoot there?

    1. They were taken in the community-type back room of the local opera house.

    1. I know, we found out she knows you and the Degenharts (and has met the Riggenbachs)... it is so weird when your different social circles start to mesh. Emily and I have been friends since I was 3, and now she's really good friends with Anna Joy, who knows you guys... yeah. Like you said, small world. :-)
