Emily | Headshots

I forgot that I hadn't blogged these images from earlier this year! Emily needed some new professional headshots and I'm always happy to have her pretty face in front of my camera. :-) We shot at a guest house that her friends own and the light was perfect!!

Emily | Recital Poster Shoot

If you've been around this blog for a while, you'll recognize Emily. She was one of the very first people to let me experiment on her for a "real" portrait session, and I also did her junior recital photos with her recital partner. Hard to believe 2 years have passed already since taking those!

And even harder to believe that Emily is at the end of her studies at MBI! We've been friends since we were 3 and 4, so every new phase of life feels like we're not old enough to be there yet. :-) She's graduating next month and this past weekend had her senior recital - it was a gorgeous and flawless performance!

I love the rock bed and how her dress mimics a waterfall!

Bekah & Diana | Recital Publicity Shoot

Bekah is an amazingly talented pianist. I met her through a mutual friend, and first heard her play when she sight-read some music for us to sing. Flawlessly. I knew she was good, but then I heard her at a recital performing solo pieces and OH my goodness, people. She's incredible!

Not to mention very gorgeous to boot.

So when she asked if I'd be up for taking some poster shots of for her joint senior recital with her friend Diana, of course I said yes! Diana is a soprano at Moody Bible Institute, and though I haven't been able to hear her sing yet, I do know she's got great taste - she sang a bunch of my favorite songs at the recital (which I wasn't able to attend - boo).

We froze our way around historic Long Grove (I have the most enduring clients - they tromp through snow and slush, put up with frigid temperatures and look amazing doing it!). Enjoy these shots of two beautiful young women! Wonderful to see gifts being used for God's glory!

Hello, blue wall.

So pretty!
