I Heart Faces - Water

We spent the whole afternoon at our friend's brand new pool (thanks, Mrs. L!). My friend went under water and whipped her hair out, flinging water everywhere... we had her do it again to get it on camera and I got this capture. I thought it was pretty cool, with her long hair fanning out and the water making an arch framing her.

  17. Thank you everyone for the kind comments! This is my most commented post!

For those of you who wanted to know my settings for this shot:
    Lens: 50mm 1.8 (Canon)
    Mode: Aperture Priority (Av)
    Aperture: f/2.5
    Shutter Speed: 1/2000
    ISO: 100
    Exposure Bias: 0.67

It was not an easy shot to get... it just happened at the right moment. I tried taking more like it but none of them came out as good as this one. I was always a split second off to get the full fanned out look. I set the camera to continuous shooting and just held the shutter down until she was done!
