Looking the part :-)
Gearing up (literally) for my first wedding this weekend! I rented a flash and a diffuser; makes me look like the real deal, doesn't it? :-) I avoid flash like the plague but with an after-dark reception I thought I had better have a backup plan for my usual natural light tactics. :-)

haha having a flash (and diffuser in your case!) always makes you feel legit...you'll do awesome! can't wait to see pictures from the wedding.

You may. Except, better yet, it's a dress. My most recent Kohl's bargain - $10. I'm fully aware of its fabulousness (the reason I bought it, in fact...) :-D
DeleteI am certainly going to try; and I am planning to have a blast whether I rock it or not. :-) Though I have a feeling I will end up with sore feet and a cramped hand at the end of the day, I have a sneaking suspicion that I will think it was worth it...
Wow! Have fun! So fun to be shooting a wedding! I'll be shooting my first wedding in Jan (for my cousin...he asked me to be his photographer..yikes!!). Please share any tips you learn, ok? Especially any external flash tips!

Oh, how exciting!! I doubt I'll be a flash expert at the end of this... but so far from practicing it seems like if I keep the flash on ETTL (auto) and my camera on manual it works out ok... I'll certainly share any wedding-shooting wisdom I learn over the weekend. :-)
